Setup Instructions

Step 1: Create an Account

Use your assigned login:

Step 2: Install the Chrome Extension

Step 3: Pin the Extension

Click the puzzle icon in Chrome, then the pin next to Outboundly.

Step 4: Grant Access to LinkedIn

Click the extension → Grant Access to LinkedIn (if using LinkedIn).

Step 5: Set to ChatGPT

In Settings, ensure “ChatGPT” is selected. I’ve connected it to my paid account.

✅ 1. Install and Pin the Chrome Extension

  • Go to https://bit.ly/outboundly
  • Click “Add to Chrome” → then “Add Extension”
  • Click the puzzle icon in the top-right of Chrome, find Outboundly, and click the pin icon

✅ 2. Sign Up / Log In

✅ 3. Grant Access to LinkedIn

  • Visit linkedin.com
  • Click the Outboundly extension
  • Click “Grant Access” so Outboundly can analyze profiles

✅ 4. Use Outboundly on LinkedIn

  • Visit any LinkedIn profile
  • Click the Outboundly icon
  • Choose from: Connect, Follow-up, Cold Message, Email
  • AI will generate a custom message on the spot

✅ 5. Smart Templates & Custom Instructions

  • Use Smart Templates with custom tags
  • Personalize tone, messaging style, industry focus

✅ 6. Save & Reuse Messages

  • Click “Save as Template” to reuse winning messages later

✅ 7. Email Integration

  • Visit any business website
  • Click Outboundly
  • AI will scan the page and generate a tailored email

✅ 8. Settings Overview

  • Click the gear icon inside the extension
  • Confirm ChatGPT is selected (it’s connected to our paid API)
